Books read:
Butter by Asako Yuzuki- a novel dissecting societal norms after a case involving a woman who seduced men with food only to kill them later takes the country by storm; along with some real good descriptions of butter soaked food. a long read (almost 700 pages) but lives were changed, so worth it ig.
Lost Lambs by Madeline Cash- a debut novel exploring a dysfunctional family of five in which each member is on an unrelated wild journey (wild is an understatement honestly). some plot points were questionable but overall an amusing story with real laugh out loud moments.
Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata (14%)- part of the healing fiction genre. might heal something in me by the time i finish it.
Kiss Kiss by Roald Dahl- a dark and disturbing short story collection. read one story, might never forget it. bracing myself to read the rest. one story a month?!
Media consumed: Welcome (movie), Perfect Crown (kdrama), Twinkling Watermelons (kdrama)
Songs on loop: Shararat, Badi mushkil, Kaali activa
